Cooking Classes and Such.....
I have been teaching people to cook for decades - both professionals and those just looking to be better cooks - for the fun of it if you will. I cater to anyone wanting to learn the skills.

Recreational Cooking Classes
As the Culinary Director of the Cooking School at the Marketplace
at East Falls (PA), I design, plan and teach recreational cooking
classes to non-professionals. These classes are fun and
informative and designed to make the task of cooking more enjoyable,
to help you save money and foremost - helping you lead a more
healthy lifestyle. Click on this logo to be directed to the
Cooking School Website for more information and to register for
classes.

Order My Book
After teaching recreational cooking for years, I came to realize that due to a number of factors, many people do not have the basic skills needed to prepare food that looks good, tastes good and minimizes all those nasty preservatives and additives. As a culture, we are not teaching our children how to feed themselves. This is why I wrote: Learning the Basics: A home cook's guide to the kitchen. To order the book, click on the icon:

Cost is $50 per hour plus the cost of food. Call 215-801-5540 or email me at chris@chef-chris.com for more info.
- Knife Sharpening Services - A dull knife is more dangerous than a Sharp Knife!! Do this test: place the edge of your knife on the edge of a plain piece of paper. Draw the knife toward you. If you slice cleanly down into the sheet you are good to go. If not, they need work. Cost is .50 cents per blade inch for normal sharpening. For severely damaged blades I quote a number. - Team Building Cooking Classes - this type of program has been successfully used by companies to strengthen teamwork and by organizations seeking to determine how well new hires or potential hires will work with an existing team. Each class is personally designed. Call 215-801-5540 or email me at chris@chef-chris.com for more info.
- Client Gifts - If you are looking for a Competitive Point of Difference to set you above your competition, consider hosting a cooking class to say "Thanks for your Business" instead of hosting another boring dinner or meaningless chitchat for their desk.
